Research & Investment Disclaimer
QuantMetrics Lab publishes independent quantitative research, indicators and model outputs. This page explains the limits of that material and the basis on which it is made available.
Last updated: 28 August 20261. Research and informational purpose only
All content on QuantMetrics Lab, including indicators, charts, model outputs, research papers, commentary, historical comparisons and projected model windows, is provided solely for quantitative research, educational and informational purposes.
QuantMetrics Lab does not provide personalised investment advice, portfolio management, brokerage, dealing, execution, financial planning, legal advice or tax advice through this website.
2. No recommendation, solicitation or offer
Nothing on this website constitutes or should be interpreted as a recommendation, solicitation, invitation or offer to buy, sell, subscribe for, hold or otherwise transact in Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, securities, commodities, currencies or any other asset or financial instrument.
References to market conditions, cycle phases, historical similarity, liquidity compression, monetary aggregates or model windows describe research outputs. They are not trading instructions.
3. No client, advisory or fiduciary relationship
Accessing the website, reading a publication, using an indicator, subscribing to updates or contacting QuantMetrics Lab does not create a client, adviser, fiduciary, broker or other professional relationship.
4. Model risk and uncertainty
Quantitative models are simplified representations of reality. They depend on assumptions, definitions, historical samples, data quality and methodological choices. A model can be internally consistent and still fail to describe future market behaviour.
- historical relationships may weaken, disappear or reverse;
- similar historical windows do not imply similar future outcomes;
- estimated timing windows are not event probabilities;
- index values are not price targets unless explicitly defined as such;
- model revisions may change future outputs as new information becomes available.
5. Historical performance is not a guarantee
Past market behaviour, backtests, historical analogues, reconstructed series and prior model accuracy do not guarantee future results. Markets may behave materially differently from historical observations.
6. Data quality and third-party sources
Research may depend on public, commercial or third-party data sources. QuantMetrics Lab seeks to use sources considered appropriate for the research question but does not guarantee that third-party data is complete, uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available.
Data revisions, methodology changes, exchange reporting differences, provider outages or measurement limitations may affect outputs.
7. No warranty
Research and website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, QuantMetrics Lab makes no warranty or representation regarding accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, future performance or uninterrupted availability.
8. Your decisions remain your responsibility
You remain solely responsible for evaluating any information and for your own financial decisions. Before making a material investment decision, consider your objectives, financial circumstances, risk tolerance and, where appropriate, obtain advice from an authorised professional who can consider your individual situation.
9. Publications and social-media references
Social-media posts may highlight new research outputs or changes in an indicator and link back to QuantMetrics Lab. Short-form posts cannot reproduce all methodology, assumptions and limitations. The relevant website page and its documentation should therefore be read before interpreting an output.
Expressions such as “high”, “low”, “compression”, “similarity”, “cycle phase” or “projected window” refer to the definitions of the relevant research framework and should not be read as an instruction to trade.
10. Conflicts, sponsorships and commercial relationships
If a publication is sponsored, commissioned, contains affiliate relationships or involves another material commercial relationship relevant to the content, that relationship should be disclosed in or alongside the relevant publication.
11. Jurisdiction
The availability of content on the internet does not mean that any product, service or activity is offered in a jurisdiction where doing so would be unlawful or require an authorisation that has not been obtained.
12. Changes
This disclaimer may be updated when QuantMetrics Lab introduces new indicators, data services, publications or commercial features. The current version will be published on this page.
This page is intended as a clear description of the limits of QuantMetrics Lab research content. It is not a substitute for legal advice regarding the regulatory classification of a particular service, publication or communication.
